Polish Falcons Of America Membership Benefits
The Falcons admits as members, individuals who are of good moral character and who are judged supportive of the purpose and ethnic heritage of the Polish Falcons of America. If you would like additional information about the benefits listed below, you may submit our Information Request Form.
Discount Prescription Program
This program reduces the cost of prescription drugs for those without a prescription program. Average savings on the plan range from 12% to 15% for brand-name drugs and 45% to 50% for generic drugs.
Medical I.D. Jewelry
Any PFA member with a specific, documented medical problem is eligible to receive a free medical I.D. bracelet or necklace. These items are designed to alert emergency medical personnel of your problem so that you may receive proper care.
Emergency Cash Fund
This program is for members in need of cash due to illness, injury, natural disaster or other calamity. When a Nest conducts a function, activity or project that produces financial aid for one of its members, National Headquarters matches that amount up to a maximum of $500.
Sports Competition And Physical Fitness Programs
Regardless of age or physical ability, members of our society are encouraged to participate in the many physical fitness programs offered by the Polish Falcons. From our walking program to the bowling and golf leagues, softball games and volleyball matches, these activities allow our members to achieve the Falcon motto of A Healthy Spirit in a Healthy Body."
Scholarship Programs
The Richard C. Gorecki Scholarships
The Gorecki Scholarships are designed to reward those PFA members who demonstrate the highest academic standards and leadership qualities.
The Dr. T.A. Starzynski Scholarships
The main objective of the Starzynski Scholarship Fund is to provide scholarships for deserving PFA members who are aspiring to attend institutions of higher learning. Graduating high school seniors and presently enrolled undergraduates may apply for a grant.
PFA Youth Summer Camp
Held annually, the PFA National Youth Summer Camp provides a quality physical fitness program along with social, cultural and educational activities. PFA members can use this link to get more information.
Monthly Newspaper
Members of our society receive, free of charge, a subscription to the Sokol Polski (Polish Falcon) — the award-winning publication of the Polish Falcons of America. Published continuously since 1896, each monthly issue is packed with information on issues and events within the organization, the Polish-American community and Poland. PFA members can soon visit the Sokol Polski Web page in the Member Area for current and previous issue downloads.
PFA Merchandise Service
The PFA Merchandise section in the Members Area offers excellent merchandise a discount from the suggested retail price, from Christmas CDs to ornaments to Falcon-related products.
The PFA Home Loan Program
Administering this program of mortgages for purchase or refinance is one of the nation’s largest mortgage lenders.
Moving Discount Benefit
Members of the Polish Falcons of America can receive discounts on local, intrastate and national moves from Mayflower Transit, "The most recognized name in moving." Some of these discounts include packing cartons, credit for driving time, cash savings and big discounts off the national rates.
Affordable Fraternal Life Insurance
One of the primary purposes of the Polish Falcons is to provide affordable life insurance to protect all family members. Our modern and economical life insurance plans are designed for adults as well as children.
Annuities and Retirement Plans
In order to provide members with the most complete and flexible portfolio, PFA also offers annuity products. These cash-accumulation plans have many advantages over other forms of savings plans and investments.
Newborn Benefit and Newborn Guaranteed Issue
PFA provides a no-cost death benefit for your newborn age one week to six months based on the face amount of the permanent life insurance policies of the parents. Also, a guaranteed issue of $5,000 of Single Premium Whole Life Insurance is available for children from one week to one year old.
Orphan Benefit and Education Fund
This benefit provides a monthly income to age 18 for an orphaned child who is a member and whose parents were also members. Also, if the child enrolls as a full-time student in an accredited institution of higher education, PFA will provide a benefit of $800 per year for a maximum of four years.
