In memory of ALL who served...

Plus all Polish Americans from the Revolutionary War.

From World War I - Yes this is the VERY STREET (same block) which I live on today. Bremen St. Circa 1916, take note of the Polish & American flags!

Same block of Bremen Street today!

Bremen St. in 1976, back when Nest 725 leadership understood and esteemed Polish/American history, traditions, commitment to excellence, self-sacrifice & service to community & country! A belief held & acted upon for 96 years, but seemingly no more.

Many honors were bestowed upon the Polish veterans by the U.S.A.
A fascinating history to research!

careless_02Can you imagine having to keep ones mouth shut if there were a war here today? Facebook, twitter, blogs, forums, etc. etc. etc. The young, immature leadership in the Nest today, despite a years worth of repeated warnings, still cannot keep quiet in these types of public venues! This hurts the Nest & its credibility!

Sadly, even the "old guard" leadership is either naive to what is happening or chooses to turn a blind eye, all for the sake of membership numbers and, dare I say it? M-O-N-E-Y!
As the membership numbers and policy's continue to dwindle or the quality of the membership is sacrificed, I personally hope it is NOT too late for the organization to get back to its' roots and what they have always publicly stated they stand for. As an organization, you can survive in today's modern technological world if you stand for something and stop falling for everything!

During World War II, Nest 725 had 41 of its members serve in the United States Armed Forces. Some of those members were a former Nest President: Druh Raymond Zareczny, and a former Vice-President: Druh Stanley Orlikowski and former Board member: Druh Raymond Bronk.
On behalf of all those families past and present, it is with great humility we honor and REMEMBER ALL who have served and gave their very best to this great country!

UPDATE 2

May 17th...As you can see below, I have now pulled the search functions from the site and am slowly deleting all files off the server so when the site is "taken down" no one will have to worry about pictures being left out on the server for someone else to use.

Additionally, all articles, many components  and thousands upon thousands of pictures have been deleted (see above). Again, if you needed an article or some pictures just contact me by clicking here and I will do my best to respond to your request(s).

Original message (info no longer pertinent with strikethrough)...

ATTENTION ! ! !

As of May 10th, 2013... Due to circumstances beyond my control (because of Nest 725 leadership decisions), I (Webmaster Bill) am NO LONGER responsible for this website! As a courtesy to those who have come to the site over the years (millions of hits!), I will keep the search function open... this is located in the upper right hand corner... for you to search the website for things you may wish to copy or download.

Yes, the website is entirely intact, but as a precaution to prevent any "file loss", menu items have been removed in addition to other navigational tools.

I have been informed that this site could be taken down between now and June 1st, 2013 so I cannot guarantee how long you will see this page or any other!

Rest assured, as a Webmaster and an experienced computer tech with nearly 25 years of experience, my website backups have backups! And you can temporarily contact me by clicking here if you'd like pictures, articles or other files. A "mirrored version" of this site up until this very day may also be made available to browse on a CD "offline" style.

It has been a real pleasure building this website over the years! Keeping the best interests of the Nest above all else and making the site internationally known. This was "my baby" and while she may disappear, I have the "DNA" with which to build even bigger and better sites for many years to come!

UPDATE 1!

May 14th...The PFA Nest 725 YouTube channel has been closed along with the double digit number of videos that have been there and updated for the last 3 years. Another courtesy I provided for the nest. I am grateful for the thousands of views these videos got, so with deep appreciation, I have copies and will be posting them again (along with about 30 more) over the course of the next 8 months produced on a different channel. Those of you who emailed me will be first on my list to email with all the details as they become available. Laughing
